Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

Romhatten. 40%. Brun. Duft af sødme, vanilje, kokos, brun sukker. Smag ,eget rund, kokos, krydret afslutning. Tropisk fadlagring 8-15 år, blendes med 2-10 år fransk lagret.
Lekkere rum zacht mond gevoel en rijk aan smaken aanrader
The only issue for me is that it's a bit too sweet for my choices. If there was a "presentation" rating this will be a 10
Currently on my second bottle of this. Amazing Decanter style bottle. Incredibly smoothe, Filled with Flavour, the Vanilla notes are superb. I drink this neat, I found that on the rocks diluted the flavour too much for me. Highly Recommended
A great rum. Mild and sweet, it tastes and smells like vanilla
Nice caramel, but not cloying. Perhaps a late hint of coconut. Insanely smooth directly upon first opening.
When you taste it it comes very soft and enjoyable. It taste good woody and quite long. Not a strong taste sweet but not to sweet. If you’re looking for an easygoing soft rum, that’s the one. And it really don’t need ice in it.
My favorite so far.
But new so i might surely change my mind

This is a fabulous rum and a great value. It’s not overly sweet to me but has a nice warm finish that lingers and beautiful vanilla and coconut notes that make you want more. Well done!
