Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

Chuť: banán, sladký, jemné tóny čokolády
Aroma: kytky a kokos
Příjemný rum který zvládnu pít celý den
Aroma: květiny, ovoce
Chuť: nasládlá, melasa, rumová čokoláda, jemné banánové tóny.
Výborný vyvážený rum.
As a beginner myself, this is is a delightful rum. Perfect to drink as is, on the rocks or with coke (although people around here will probably shout at me for mixing it)

If you analyse the price and disposability are very good ! If you taste you will see just a rum with out more information! A fancy bottle and a big knob ! I prefer more abv and more transparency about the age …..
Un ron muy suave y agradable, dulce pero sin excederse de lo justo, sabor a piña y frutas maduras.
Yes this has character, and a nice packaging, but all in all, for this age, it should offer more. It's too sweet and one dimensional for a rum of such age. Too bad.
Guter Rum, immer bekannter auch unter Nicht-Rum-liebhaber. Habe ivh länger nicht mehr gekauft.
