Havana Club 7-Year

A great favourite for an evening drink and great value.

This is my goto rum for all occasions except significant celebrations involving rum. I love this in my rum cocktails and I like this neat or on the rocks. The aroma is not overpowering (light tropical fruit flavours, some dry grass) and the taste is pleasant without being overbearing (molasses first, layers of sour and sweet fruit notes bring nice complexity, smooth warm length).

It is a fair rum balanced but nothing special.Though i enjoy it with a cigar

Not too good, not too bad, veering towards good.

Tastes peppery in spice and there's a sweetness that comes through.

Reminds me of my youth. Would not buy it now to sip it at home, but it's a decent choice if you're out and cannot get your hands on anything else. Good to mix too

This rum isn't primitive, almost dry, noticeably heavy, with complex aroma. It's completely aged. I don't understand those rum lovers who give it low marks. ....... Новый дизайн бутылки не прибавил привлекательности. Аромат достаточно сложный, и это похвально для массового продукта. Он почти сухой и немного грубый, но не выходит за рамки приличий. И выдержан очень достойно.

Another good rum for the price, but more of a cocktail rum than a sipper in my opinion. The finish is sharp and doesn't last long.
