A must have in the Cabinet for after dinner ; in general for all occasions but short finish
Remembers me a bit of Dictator 20 y but milder

A great gift and a great choice - might be a bit more soft with it's extra time in the barrels when comparing it to Bumbu Original, but it's great when chilled, it's nice with a coke and it's wonderful for the summer. It's more accessible than others and it offers a very nice and genuinely pleasant experience when sipping. Plus, cant beat that sound when the cork gets out. Marvelous.

Just tasted this rum and was surprised there was no overwhelming alcohol taste. Goes down smooth as well but it is a forgettable rum in my opinion.

The bottle will summon your inner pirate, however I don’t recommend it as a sipper. Mix it with some topo Chico and enjoy the refreshing spice.

The first time I had it, didn’t love it, so was hesitant to try again years later. Can’t find my Diplomatico so working through some other brands. I seem to have trouble with the Caribbean rums. This was fine and I would buy again if on sale. lol. On sale in Canada, ya, no such thing.

Bumbu XO. One of my favorites, Sweet and oaky, you can definitely tasted the barrel age to it. mixed second glass with pineapple/mango juice which was also good.

Nouse: Leather, orange, ginger hints and apricot
Mouth: Medium Sweet, citrics like orange peel with black pepper
Medium persistence on the palate, good aftetaste

Good for mix with lime and Coke

Have not had the original, but I have to say I was very impressed with the XO. Very clean finish yet with plenty of the flavor I have come to love from a rum. I would certainly buy it again and look forward to the sister blends.

I liked this rum quite a bit. It's sweet and flavorful, and it borders on an 8 because of the price, which is quite reasonable for what you get.

Friends recommended this brand, but honestly I expected a better taste. Liked the desing of the bottle tho'
