Plantation 3 Stars Artisanal

I was looking for a fairly inexpensive go-to white rum for drinks that require it, my only previous whites were Havana Club Anejo Blanco Puerto Rican and (shudder) Bacardi. The Plantation is a step above them IMO. If I only have a single bottle of white rum, this will be it. Though I haven't yet tried Selvarey, Foursquare Prohibitas or others, for now Plantation is a safe and very affordable bet.

Normally I am not much of a white rum drinker and wasn't really expecting much from this plantation, but I must say it surprised me a lot. It drinks a bit like a brown rum and there is a lot of flavor. Bit fruity and also a bit woody. Really a winner. And in the cola he’s also really really great. I give it an 8.

Served in Daiquiri form at Laka Lono in my early days of tasting.

This is a great addition to the home bar as it mixes well in regular cocktails and tiki-drinks as well.

Fehér rum létére nagyon finom! Bár igaz, hogy ez egy érlelt rum fehérre visszaszűrve. Karakteres, testes zamatú blend. Magában is mindenképpen érdemes kóstolgatni, de koktélalapnak is nagyszerű, ráadásul meglepően olcsó!

Best by far, but I have not tried many blancos. It has a deep and flavourful taste compared to Brugal, Bacardi or even Havana 3yo. Great for cocktails. Might want to try it neat or on the rocks as well! Hard to describe its taste profile, but its a bit sweet.

I don't know about "sugar" added or any of the other issues but I like the taste. Nice little diversion from my normal rums. Nice aroma, little bite at the end.

This white rum is a perfect analog for the Diplomatico White Rum! At this price, this is going to be one of the best white rums you encounter!

Bottle gifted by The Big Kahuna. Pours clear- ever so slight yellow. Kind of a grassy doughy agricole aroma that’s present, but not powerful. Palate is the best part! This is downright thick. Huge mouth. Medicinal and bitter finish. Very nice.
