Very good rum with a right price. Often Jamaica rums are bottled 100 proof or more. Appleton use always the right proof. Recommended !
Pot Still underpins this Jamaican offering and for me, makes it my go to for Rum and coke.
Not as good as the 12 but it is not the same price.
Thid has Appleton signature taste mixed with coke it is okay. Not that expensive
Full of exotic fruits, not bad. I was surprised how good this is. of course this is not your fireplace, slowly sipping stuff.
Overall looks like whisky cousin but after couple of glasses I used to drink it alone and enjoying it for itself specific taste and aroma.
Ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ooooooooooooooooooooooooooook
Title says it all. Nothing better for a rum and coke. A really good squeeze of lime makes it even better.
Have liked this rum since I first tried it. I usually have a bottle on hand when guests are over

"Appleton Estate V/X rum review by Steve Crotty via Rum & Reviews"
Gives a fairly pungent scent of molasses, black pepper and sweet alcohol.
"A touch of vanilla and ginger. There is still a hit of molasses on the nose and some spiced black pepper. The rum is quite delicate initially. It is a hot spicy rum."

This is a good rum. I have to revisit this one, because the spices caught me off guard. Not one I would normally chose for sipping neat (first thoughts).
