J'ai trouvé son odeur agressive, mais excellente et très fruitée ! Très vanillé en bouche ! Je l'ai préféré mixé avec du coca, que seul. Ce n'est pas mon préféré, mais très bon rapport qualité/prix :)
I found his odor offensive but excellent and very fruity ! Very vanilla taste in the mouth ! I preferred it mixed with coke than straight up. This is not my favorite, but very good quality / price ratio :)
This is my preferred everyday-rum. The quality, taste and value are excellent.
All of the Appelton's have great flavor and give off a great aroma. The Estate VX is warm and goes down smooth.
For those good friends or clients you like, V/X is a premium Mixer that is also a good sipper
I have been enjoying this rum consistently sine about 1998. It has great flavors. It can be enjoyed sipping, on ice and mixed, though I do mix it most often. An all around good rum.
but rough on the throat. Dark color with some good after tastes!
Appleton rum with cold, freshly squeezed orange juice...preferably on a beach in Negril, Jamaica...life doesn't get much better than that!
Decent rum, good caramel color, harsh on the nose, great mixing rum, pour over ice add some apple juice and enjoy, I'd prefer other rums to this one but easily available at your local supermarket at a good price. Ok rum, just mix it baby!
I received a bottle from my daughter who visited Jamaica. I think this might be a good rum for mixing, but I like mine straight, and this rum lacks the smoothness that my other favorites deliver.
Entry-level rum in the Appleton Estate family

Gives a fairly pungent scent of molasses, black pepper and sweet alcohol.
"A touch of vanilla and ginger. There is still a hit of molasses on the nose and some spiced black pepper. The rum is quite delicate initially. It is a hot spicy rum."

I think all Appletons rums are great value and full of flavour . This to my taste is a great rum for a decent cola with a slice and some ice ! I also have the Appletons 12 which i intend to open soon and i acquired a bottle of the Appletons Master Blenders Legacy recently ... Which i will probably never open as i will never find a replacement !!
