Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

you dont want to drink this neat, just get the three and mix with coke, or get a nicer bottle
Mijn persoonlijke favoriet. Zeer lekkere Rum, zowel puur als met cola.
It's not the most complex or beautiful rum but it's nice and in most bars around the world (except for the US). Great in a dark in stormy or with ginger ale instead. It has a unique flavour with a really strong hint of tobacco and leather at the start which isn't really matched by anything else in the market. I'm not a smoker but I recommend it to people who are.
Distinctly Caribbean with slight caramel and cane. Not as aromatic as South American runs but an excellent contrast to the likes of Pyrat or diplomático. Comparable to great Puerto Rican runs but, of course Cuban :-).
Smooth taste and easy to drink on the rocks. nothing overwhelming.
It just doesn't get any more Cuban than this. Iconic.
Havana Club Añejo 7 Años has a dazzling and clear mahogany colour...

'caramel, cane sugar, and a bit of cinnamon character in the finish'

Their is a creamy/buttery vanilla like smell oak, dry tobacco and smokiness.
"It’s very hot, spicy and very bitter. Luckily the burn isn’t bad and very short. Subsequent sips are much smoother."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Really complex palate that makes this run truly enjoyable.
The oak barrels seems to give him a good finish.
