Cuba | Aged | 40% ABV

Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.

Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

Ok rom. Men en jeg hellere vil bruge til at blande med end at drikke rent

One you can sip neat, mix with cola or stick in a cocktail. Inexpensive, tasty, versatile rum

I like the colour but I am not a fan of the pure (rubbing) alcohol smell once poured. This rum must rest for a while to allow its harshness to dissipate. Does have some redeemable qualities, but if available I much prefer Santiago de Cuba at this price range.

Got this one as a gift. For us US citizens it's not that easy to get. My benefactor said it was good but might have a bit of a medicinal initial taste. Not to me. If a rum makes it into the pack it gets a 7. I think this is a notch above the pack. I like the taste and it it nice and smooth. Not an all time favorite but close. I tried a second bottle and I'm less impressed. I'm dropping it back to a 7

I first drank this mixed with coke in a Cuba Libre. I thought it was very good for the price range. Then I made it in a classic rum punch. Let's just say that it was a good thing I was at home and not driving. That punch was so good and smooth that I drank most of it myself, despite having a big group of people over. A good Cuban rum, much better that Bacardi!

Havana club 7 is produced with 'continues aging' whereby it's blended with part of older batch.

Buttery and floral, maple syrup drizzled on warm waffle. Bitter sweet of cold brew coffee with acidity and fruitiness of dried longan.
Semi dry, warm honey syrup, fruity and tangy (dried apricot & unripe peach). Touch of bitterness of tobacco.
Light burn on throat with floral honeycomb. Woody and tangy cedar wood towards the end.

Not good as a sipper...you may use it as one but I am sure it tastes mixed more comfortable...

I bought it to stack up my selection...but almost 2/3 I own are better than this one...

For the EUR 19.90 I bought it for, totally ok.

Very smooth with notes of caramel, spices and raisins. Kind of like Zacapa 23

Descent quality rum for cocktails, but can also be enjoyed neat to some extend.

Best enjoyed in a high quality cuba libre!!

I find it at a price of 25€ which is very descent in my opinion for a 7 year aged Rum

I would recommend buying directly that instead of the Anejo Reserva from Havana Club

High density rum. It looks like syroup. Very good taste. I highly recommend to enjoy it with only one icecube.
