Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

Dont pour coke or put any ice in this. Enjoy it pure with à Cohiba. Bam ! Still One of my favorite !
it's nothing for me.For mixing drinks is good. When there is nothing else to drink....
Bacardi black/oakheart , captain Morgan black/gold/spiced.

Color, aroma, textura y sabor dulce y suave.
Excelente Ron.
Very smooth lovely drink neat, not as colourful as mount gay but easily worth paying £20 for. IMO is worth a lot more than £20 and def worth buying if you like sipping straight
For me this is the best rum to make a Cuba Libre. But it stands perfectly on its own. A rum isn't supposed to be too sweet and this one isn't. If you're new to rum don't sip this one and try rum that is a bit more sweet.
Good quality rum. Taste is heavy on leather, smoke and tobacco. I only buy this in bars with poor selection if I'm craving some rum. Good on ice. Worth a try for its price!
Tried this after being recommended by a mate. Great for sipping. Very smooth, no burn, but extremely warming.
Picked this up in Nassau along with a bottle of 3YO. Aroma was pleasant with some nice molasses, spice and dried fruit notes.
First sip was kind of rough to me, though. I got an unpleasant "burnt" flavor initially. As the bad flavor faded, the taste smoothed out and took on a bit of whisky character. The second sip was much better. It still had a bit of the burnt flavor but this time it was in the background and was more smoky. Finish was good without any unpleasant burn. Overall, not my first choice for a sipper, but it might grow on me. Definitely has a place in mixed drinks. Not bad at all.
Havana Club Añejo 7 Años has a dazzling and clear mahogany colour...

'caramel, cane sugar, and a bit of cinnamon character in the finish'

Their is a creamy/buttery vanilla like smell oak, dry tobacco and smokiness.
"It’s very hot, spicy and very bitter. Luckily the burn isn’t bad and very short. Subsequent sips are much smoother."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Disponible à la SAQ, ça ne vaut pas la peine d'en rapporter de Cuba. Je le préfère dans les cocktails que nature.
