El Dorado 12-Year

This is a great, smooth aged rum. I got a sampler bottle of this 12 year when I bought a bottle of the 8 year. I look forward to adding a bottle to my collection. As always, I enjoy my rum over ice with a healthy splash of coke.

This rum has a wonderful dark color and sweet aroma. The rich complex taste is sweet but not overwhelming. This bottle will make an excellent addition to this tequila drinker's cabinet.

This is a sweet rum, probably suggesting that it has sugar added. However, it is a well balanced rum and has a great value for money. I am more into dry rums with no sugar added but I really like this one for when I have a craving for something sweet.

Realy enjoy this rum. Sweet without being overpowering, a little bit of complexity, and some nice flavours. I usually have this straight, sometimes with a bit of ice, and always enjoy it.

Classic rum, vanilla and fruits on nose, medium sweet, warm long alcohol with again sweet fruity and nutty conclusion; very good choice for introduction to rum

Loved the aging, and flavor complexity, but too sweet, almost bordering on liquer.

I'm no rum connoisseur, but I really enjoy this rum. Sweet without being overbearing, with hints of dried fruit (especially raisin), and a bit of spice. Very smooth with very little heat. A really nice sipper; I've never mixed it with anything.

This one is really very good rum. Good flavour, little sweet and fruity afterwards. I always keep one bottle in reserve.

Good tasting Rum, wonderful flavours, pleasantly sweet, but spoilt for me a wee bit with a too strong alcohol burn. Like I said, lovely flavours, but just it lacks that X-factor to make it extra-special for me.
