Exquisito. Para ocasiones especiales y compartir solo con amigos que lo van a apreciar. Color intenso igual que el aroma, no tanto cuerpo, pero sabor incomparable

Superb aroma. Great taste. Good for sipping. Deceivingly complex.

Lekker donker rummetje. Die zeker zijn prijs waard is.

I'm not a fan of brugal at all but the 1888 is much smoother expression of the distinctive dry brugal flavour. If you enjoy other brugal runs at all I'm sure you'd love this.

N: quite interesting. Perfumy, some sherry, coconut sweet… not fantastic, but solid. T/F: very smooth and sweet, but a bit of spice and dusty complexity. Decent change of pace, clearly sippable, but closer to whisky than tequila, and on that basis less distinct.

This is a dry rum, with very interesting fruity notes. This is not the smoothest of rums, but the sherry cask ageing comes through strongly. Interestingly, in a blind tasting I would have guessed it was a port cask finish as it is fruity, but not sweet. I can highly recommend this rum as it is something quite different.

A slightly smoky smell. At first the taste seemed somewhat empty, later it seemed more complex. Rather disappointed at this price (over 50€). I like the taste but it's too dry for me. If you plan to try different things during the evening, leave the last batch. Its dryness later hides the taste of other rums.
I love the design of the bottle.

This rum is outstanding, smooth carmel taste and finish. This might be my new favorite.

Super choice for non-sweet rum lovers. Beautiful color, nice aroma, premium bottle and most important - excelent taste.
