There are so many better choices in this category...Do yourself a favor and try something like Plantation 3 star or Flor de Cana 4yr instead!

Only have used this in cocktails and it serves that purposed fine.

Bacardi is probably the bottom of my taste when looking for rum. Lacks any quality and is far from others...

Maybe the best known rum out there, and maybe just because of that the rum all others are compared to. Also my first experience with rum, many years ago. Still first choice for a rum-and-coke any day of the week, but not for situations where I want to experience drinking rum.

Basic rum for blender cocktails. Make sure you usequality ingredients if you want average cocktails.

I started drinken this rum with cola when i was young, so mabey the rum issent the best in the world but it is where it started with for my.

Just good enough for mixing. Nothing more. Don't expect anything good

Went to a party and this was the only rum available. I guess I'm a rum snob and I was going to switch drinks but I decided the rum drinkers ought to be represented rather than leave a bottle unopened. I can't remember the last clear rum I've drunk. Anyway into the glass and add some ice. Here goes. Wow. Not much on taste but it's amazingly smooth. Maybe it was the good party, but I can see I'm going to have to try this one again to confirm my rating

Let’s face it! We all need a white rum for a “boat” drink, like a daquiri, and this is my first choice for such drinks. Tasting notes are inappropriate for a pure mixer, so let’s just say this rum is destined to enhance a mix of ingredients. To that end, well done!
