Für Cocktails finde ich ihn grade für den günstigen Preis sehr gut. Für alles andere jedoch nicht zu gebrauchen.

Vielleicht mit Cola trinkbar, aber auch dafür gibt es besseres.

Everyone has had Bacardi and everyone will move on from Bacardi. It's a great option for a cheap start, but there is better stuff out there.

My basic preference for good Cuba Libre party cocktails though I dare to use more expensive rums on special occasions.

For those of you who have been following my reviews on this site, you know that I absolutely hate Bacardi and Captain Morgan. However, since Bacardi introduced a few new premium ones that garnered fairly good reviews from me, I decided to rate one of the most popular rums on this site that I have not already rated, which is this one. I also only paid $1.79 for 100 ml in a glass bottle, so plastic cannot be blamed for any bad taste here.

It smells like water and tastes like nothing! The burn going down is where it shows it's young age. This is a mixer white rum only. However, one is better off with other budget white rums such as Don Q Cristal or Cruzan Light. I have 27 white rums rated better than this one and only the vile Wray & Nephew Overproof is worse than this one. That one will make you barf, but this one won't.

It is ok for a white rum. Better than the standard low quality white rums for mixing, but can still be enjoyed with a slice of lime and ice.

No aroma/taste really. Your run of the mill rum for NON spiced. Overall mediocre. 5/10

This cheap rum could be use just to prepare some cocktails. Nothing compare to flor de cana or cana brava.
