Rum Ratings VS Rum X
I Just want your opinion:
Why would have any one driven a bit outdated Vauxhall Vectra(Rum Ratings) , If you could have freely driven MERCEDES GT AMG 63(Rum) ?
Btw. There are Diplomático Batch Kettle Distillery Collection Nr. 1,
Nr.2 and Nr. 3.
Just the first one is on Rumratings. Please put also Nr. 2 and 3.
Thank you.
LukaZiga,
All 3 Diplomatico Distillery Collection are there named as below according to what's written on the front label.
No 1 is named "Batch Kettle"
No 2 is named "Barbet"
No 3 is named "Pot Still"
If you can find a Batch Kettle No2 & 3, please show me pictures of those.
Yes, you are right. Sorry for the inconvenience , but sometimes searching on Rumratings is very rigid and slow and intermittent.
Above mentioned is correct. 👍
My mistake.
Hi LUKAŽIGA and Stefan,
Firstly, I want to thank you both for your insightful comments and contributions to the rum community. I completely agree that both platforms bring their own advantages and disadvantages, and therefore both have their individual raison d'être. Each platform offers unique features that cater to different aspects of rum enthusiasm.
Regarding the placeholders in our database, there is a simple reason for their presence. At RumX, we strictly adhere to the law and respect copyrights. We only use product photos of rums for which we have explicit permission from the copyright holders, such as our partner auction houses or online shops. This ensures that no copyright infringements occur, which is very important to us. Thanks to these partnerships, we receive numerous new, legal photos every week. We continuously enter these photos into our database to minimize the number of placeholders.
I was surprised by the statement about the database containing many duplicates. At RumX, we place great importance on the depth and accuracy of our database. As enthusiastic rum connoisseurs ourselves, we aim to represent the full spectrum of the rum world, including countless single cask bottlings that often differ in minor details but can have significantly different tastes.
To maintain high database quality, all newly submitted rums are checked by me personally several times a week and approved manually. During this process, I verify whether the rum already exists in the database and add any missing information if necessary. This meticulous review process is time-consuming, but it ensures the highest possible quality of our database.
If there are any duplicates you've noticed, could you please share a few examples? This would help me investigate directly and understand what went wrong. I really appreciate your support and any assistance in maintaining the integrity of our platform.
Thank you again for your dedication to the rum community. Together, we can continue to enhance our shared passion for rum.
Cheers, Oliver (Founder RumX)
