I tried that in bar in my hometown Volos Greece. Happily surprised with my choice!
I was not aware at that moment with this firm!It is a strong rum (48% after all)! Not so sweet and that is what it makes it great for me!! You should definitely try it!! I am considering to buy one for Christmas!
I like Doorly's rums and this version is simply the best. Dry, strong and it have all what I want.

du gout, de l'odeur une longueur en bouche, et une longue finale en bouche.
Le top de la mélasse.
Very nice rum and a step up from the 12 year old. Higher % aswel at 48%. Its a nice sipping rum and has a lot in common with the other better Foursquare rums. This a good thing because they are excellent!
Sweet nose with 48% strength. You can find wood with cherries. Taste is excellent caramel tones with oak. Middle long ending
It's hard for them do do a poor bottle, especially if they are in control of the blend. Really well balanced with a lot of complexity. For this price its's an awesome bottle and one which is going to be a house guest in my rum cabinet.
Woody oak notes dominate initially giving to some fruit.
"Lots of ginger and spicy oak on the initial entry. There is a slightly bDoorly's Fine Old Barbados Rum Aged 14 Years rum review by the fat rum pirateitter note in the oak notes. A slight astringency. Finish wise we are left with a spicy and slightly heated end to the rum."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

The bottle and box do seem legitimate but the smell and taste are truly awful. I've tasted many rums, and this is more like moonshine than rum.
The nose is very, very strong with the scent of acetone. There are some vanillas and caramels, but they're almost completely overpowered by the acetone smell.
The taste is very ethanol forward, with a distinctive burn and chemical taste. There's a faint sweetness, but this is bullied but the ethanol to the point where it's barely there.
The finish is very hot and has a significant burn in the throat.
The reason I feel like I might have fake is due to the polarising reviews and feedback.
If this bottle was around £20 I would have expected this as it would be more accessible to people who might not have sampled really smooth rums (like Plantation XO or Ron Zacapa XO), but for £65 and 14 yo, I expected it to be smoother.
