Great nose, mouthfeel, taste and finish. I like everything about this rum. The 48% ABV are exactly right and give it the necessary intensity. You are definitely going to pick up a lot of Bourbon notes on the nose and palate which I do enjoy a lot.

Little ester aroma, fruit sweetness in the taste + madeira hints, aftertaste with cinnamon and little burn.

48% suits it perfectly. Strong smell and taste of port followed by oakey tail.

I think this is the best rum I have ever tasted, although I haven't tasted alongside any of the ECS bottlings. It is definitely up there on quality though.

Only downside is that its on the expensive side, but worth it for the occasional treat.

Fantastic piece of Foursquare. Vanilla, bourbon, spicy, wood..
