Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

This was my 1st try at sipping rum ( beer drinker at heart). I have to admit the first try was not what I was looking for but after a couple days I tried it again and started noticing the different flavors of vanilla, a little oak and caramel with just alittle sweetness. I am now hooked on trying different sipping rums.
Top 5 favorite rums. Can't go wrong with this. Well worth the money. Great in color, smell, palate, taste, bottle. All round solid 9 of 10.

No after taste, smooth and easy on the tongue, neat or on a rock. This and the Diplomatico Reserve are my go tos!
Best rum I had so far. Smooth and pleasant, goes well neat or on the rocks. Didn't want to waste such a good rum in cocktails so I don't know how it goes with cola or ginger beer.
Balanced taste with soft tropical aroma in nice bottle. You can not go wrong with this rum.
So far the best Rum i tasted. I am a beginner of rum drinking and this one made me curious to taste more rums of the world!

My go to rum for every occassion. Love it. Got most of my friends on the rumwagon as well
