Light jamaican. Perfect for beginner. Or for light taste.

I have never had a similar experience with another rum - if you read the tasting notes from the bottle, you can smell and taste everything is there. Pineapple and the funky Jamaican flavor predominate. Definitely worth trying!

First try of a Dry Rum, as a mixer with coke this is an 8/10 all day, lovely traditional Jamaican rum style taste, a little sweetness and good length of finish, in fact I really enjoyed the taste linger on my palate, something I didn't expect especially as I was drinking it with coke.
I didn't enjoy it so much neat, not that it is bad, I've paid more and had a lot worse, just that when compared to Plantations Belize/Guatemala offering this is not as good and its at a similar price point, but again I found it a bit harsh, not so smooth and really not a sipper for me.

The first zip was amazing, full with fruit notes , sweet. I remember thinking: now that’s a nice rum but then I realized something odd, the aftertaste was a bit off. Couldn’t really place it but certainly wasn’t something I was enjoying.
A second try out should clarify things.

Nice to the nose but not quite a sipper. A full body taste when mixed with a funk that did not over power. This was a tasting sampler at my local tiki bar and is now in my bar.

vôňa ma nijak neoslovila, dokonca by som povedal, že vonia lacno, pri pití cítiť, že je trošku silnejší (43%) nieje ale nepríjemný a alkoholový...jemný aftertaste po tabaku... tento rum na mňa zanechal dobrý dojem, ale až po druhom či treťom poháriku..

This is a pot stilled rum.. A lot of pineapple and honey flavors.
