Cuba | Aged | 40% ABV

Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.

Not only good cigars...but Cuba producted an above average good rum. Unique aftertaste

Goût boisé, cuir et une note de fumée. Après 10 minutes le goût d'alcool s'affaiblit. Un classique, bon avec du coke. Cuba Libre!

It's a good tasting rum. There are some flavors of Apple in it, but it's nothing special.

This rum stands in the Havana Club pedigree between Anejo Especial and Seleccion de Maestros. However, its taste is way closer to his younger brother, than to the taste of Seleccion de Maestros, which is one or two classes higher. Typical Cuban dry taste, slightly more matured than Anejo Especial. Is the difference in price worth the difference in taste? In my opinion no. Therefore 75%.

Tobacco and old leather good with a strong cigar. For the price can’t go wrong.

Nice amber rhum. Havana 7 is very good for long drinks.

Nothing spectacular but does its job as a mediocre rum that comes with an affordable price. Classic Cuban style and way better than the cheaper Havana Clubs. It's that kind of bottle you wanna keep at home in case somebody who never tried rum before wanted to take a sip, so there's no need to waste a Zacapa to hear him/her go "way too bitter!".
