Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

Ok I like it but the brands reputation precedes itself
not sure if it's the liquid or my taste sensory each tasting but something is not quite there for me on this one.... the price point is good, though.
Sicher einer der fast überall zu bekommen ist, auch ein an sich gutes Geschmacksprofil hat und sich auch zum pur trinken noch eignet.
It's a classic. Lots of flavour, not too sweet. Not too smooth. Reasonably long flavour. Goes with any mixer, or can be sipped, but not in my first row for sipping rums. A cabinet staple.

It work's fantastically well as booth a mixer and a sipper. And for that low price tag it's a bargain! Great rum for its price!
In SE Asia where I am based there is not a great selection of rums, but this is widely available and is the best I have found for the money. With coke it has a nice depth of flavour where others in the same price range just give a mouthful of caramel.

Smooth and a perfect companion to Coke. Some may enjoy sipping it, but I'll save that for the 10's.
