Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

As the title suggests, i wouldnt drink this as a sipping rum. i like it for mixing, great in a cuba libre or mojito.
Bei allen Unwissenden der Premiumrum schlechthin. Jeder, der mal was besseres getrunken hat, lässt ihn links liegen.
Lighter than I expected, but good for using in cocktails if you want some more depth of flavour
This one got a really smooth taste. Best to drink with some ice.
The first time I tasted it was in Europe as it’s not available in the USA. It was smooth with a mild but effective kick.
Adequate as a sipper. Really shines in cocktails.
I get an extremely strong molasses flavour.
Although aged 7 years it lack complexity to be considered a true neat rum. Typical light caramel notes of a Spanish/Cuban style rum
this is the best deal you can do for that price. As mostly Havana Club is an guarant for good quality.
for beginners this is probably the best chance that make you join to the rum world.
Nice to drink, not too expensive, but a little sharp in taste.

Their is a creamy/buttery vanilla like smell oak, dry tobacco and smokiness.
"It’s very hot, spicy and very bitter. Luckily the burn isn’t bad and very short. Subsequent sips are much smoother."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Doesn’t present a lot of flavor. I use it as a mixer with coke. Tastes good if you mix 3 parts coke to 1 Havana Club
