Plantation Gran Anejo Guatemala & Belize

Excelentní rum za velmi příznivou cenu. Je z něj cítit dubové dřevo, tabák, vanilka a tropické ovoce. Velmi komplexní rum, kdy při každém dalším napití ucítíte další a další chuť. Je lehce nasládlý i když dle mého žádný přidaný cukr neobsahuje. Výborná volba pro rumové nadšence. Dle mého předčí levou zadní i své mnohem dražší sourozence ze stáje Plantation. 9/10

Encore un bon rhum Plantation, ces rhums sont toujours de belles découvertes à différent niveaux.
Celui-ci est assez appréciable même si l'ajout de sucre, modifie un peu son vrai caractère.

Really enjoyable in both nose and taste. Nose is fresh with notes of raisins and sweet dates. Taste is really a pleaser for your sweet tooth with hints of spices, liqourice and vanille. It gives some gentle sticks on the tongue in a really pleasant way. Like having a sweet rum desert but not too sweet.

I like sweeter rums, this is not for me but it was worth a try

Light yellow in color. Fresh floral and coconut notes on the nose. Full bodied with roasted spices, liquorise and tobacco. Taste lingers very long, very nice and subtle alcohol taste.

I really like the complexity of this rum. Vanilla notes, liquorice, brown sugar, and a nice afterburn of alcohol which smoothes out after a while.

7.5 actually. Probably my third favorite Plantation in this order: Pineapple, 5 yo, then this.

I bought this to dip my toe into a different style of rum. Up til now my novice choices have stuck to Caribbean commonwealth island rums so in my ignorance I thought I’d try something more Spanish. Plantation equals drinkable. Good reviews equals drinkable and there is stops. It’s just that. Drinkable. Light, simple, easy. It’s just like the teenage girlfriend you always wanted and then you grew up and realised that that quickly gets boring. I’m glad I bought it, it’s worth the money and I will enjoy drinking it but if it pushes me away that’s fine, I’ll keep walking. Fun to learn with.
