El Dorado 12-Year Rum is composed of a blend of aged rums, all at least 12 years old. The rums are distilled using a combination of stills including coffey stills and a double wooden pot still before being aged in bourbon oak casks.
Demerara Distillers of Guyana produces El Dorado 12-year rum and is the country's last remaining distillery, with origins tracing back to 1670. The name ""El Dorado"" references the legendary city of gold that is said to be in the country's Rupununi region.

Świetny rum, czuć że starzony, bogactwo aromatów, słodycz, wanilia, karmel, może owoce? Alkoholowość wyczuwalna na nosie już przy pierwszym niuchnięciu, jednak dobrze ukryta w smaku.. Świetnie zbalansowany na języku. Cena około 140 PLN za butelkę. Uczciwa.
Zdecydowanie polecam, do tej pory piłem jedynie solo, jednak myślę że do herbatki też sprawdzi się idealnie. Naprawdę dobry wybór, jeśli ktoś się waha to polecam.
Great sipper on the sweet side, full and deep bodied. Every sip stays in your mouth. Run to the shop if you haven't tried it, a premium rum for very little money.
I was enjoying every drop of this 12yo. It is one of my top sweetened rums. Highly recommend.

One of the best value for money. A sweet rum full of flavours
Smells alot of caramell and vanilla with a depth. A bit to much alcohol for the nose.
First taste is to much alcohol but let it sit for 10 minutes and its lovely. Creamy caramel, vanilla, butter in a nice balance with the alcohol. The aftertaste is to die for. Like an old school butter caramel Werthers Original. "Well, now im the grandad"! :)
