El Dorado 12-Year

Просто бомбезний аромат, та і смак просто чудовий. Один з найкращих для мене ромів. Дуже добре збалансований.

Makes for a good mixer and decent sipper. For the price this rum is a nice one to have on the shelf when people drop in to visit.

Tried it neat at a bar and I enjoyed the fruitiness and roundedness. Went out and bought a bottle and have a few which leads me to think the 15 is superior. Is it worth the extra cost? To me it is.

The zesty, orange peel flavour reminds me of Ron Zacapa 23, but this isn't as sweet.

Expensive mixer but a bit boring sipper.
I would rather by something else in this price range.

Auf der süßen Seite, etwas unruhig , aber durchaus trinkbar.

On the sweet side, a little restless , but quite drinkable.

Tried as a sipping rum, found it bitter and harsh. Had to mix.

A good rum, tasty, sweet but not so, well balanced with some caractere.

First sniff gives a nice citrus scent with hints of oak barrel bourbon nose. The taste definitely gives out the barrel aging, but the smoothness is lacking from an 8-year aged rum. If not for the "burn" I would probably have made this an 8.
Some sweetness in the aftertaste with a hint of caramel and vanilla. I prefer sipping rum so never mix so I can only say, a decent sipper with decent taste. I will buy again.

For the price inham much better rums. Though everybody’s taste is different of course.
