I liked this better than the reviews would suggest.
This is Very nice , fruity, vanila and easy to drink rum
This is definitely a rum that is flavoured with vanilla and banana that for some is just too much. For me it is a very smooth easy drinking delight. When simply over ice it is easy to enjoy the not so subtle tastes. Mixed it invokes a feeling of a tropical vacation and sun baked beaches. This rum is not for everyone and may not be what traditionalists are after, but it is in my opinion undeniably enjoyable!
quite a pleasant banana scent
is a delicious rum if you like banana
In terms of spiced rums, Bumbu does a great job of breaking the vanilla mold. Its unique flavor blend refreshing. As always, I enjoy this rum mixed with a splash of Coke.
Tried Bumbu original tonight. It is a very very sweet rum. I haven’t had a rum this sweet amd banana filled flavor before. I may have to use this as more of a dessert drink. No burn at all and kind of like syrup. Probably won’t be sipping on this much in the future.
This is the best rum I've personally ever tasted. No need to mix or add ice, very rare I come across rums like that. Absolutely amazing
While I don't require my drinks to have a sharp edge, Bumbu dampens it's spirit by being, in my opinion, unnecessarily sweet. It has a nice blend of flavors, but I really have to pay attention to feel it underneath all the sugary, bit bubblegum sweetness.
It's probably going to sit well with people who like caramelly cognacs and liqueurs.
The nose smells very sweet. Llashings of caramel and toffee.
"It barely even tastes like alcohol in any way shape or form. No mid palate and definitely no finish not even the slightest hint of alcohol burn. Maybe a little bit of woodiness as it goes down."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Tasty but very sweet. Vanilla overpower other flavor..
