A very good mixing rum but wouldn’t recommend sipping it
Not bad, good rum for mix with coke or even on rocks.
A nice tasting rum. Sweet but not overly so. Hints of caramel. Enjoyable with your favorite mix.
It's got that Jamaican funk taste to start then mellows out.. but I only drink it mixed.. I'm not a fan of Jamaican rum tastes.. but they grow on me after half way through the glass
Great rum to enjoy in mixed drinks. Can be great with other more complex rums in a cocktail.
This was the first rum I actually bought. We went to Jamaica on our honeymoon and had some at the airport. Wasn't sure how much I liked it then. Had a few beers at the bar than tried a dirty banana which was excellent. Over the week we had a few rum drinks which we enjoyed, the Appleton brand was the only one available. It's a good thing I liked it lol.
Smooth and balanced. Exceptional for any rail rum.
Correct pour faire des drinks, pas un rhum de dégustation.
Burnt sugar and citrus on the nose, very smooth stuff, I love this for mixing and thoroughly enjoy sipping it. Hard to beat for the price.
Well balanced and it is a quite subtle (by Jamaican standards) rum.
"The initial sip is quite smooth but the palate soon heats up and feels the black pepper again, this time with some chilli and ginger spice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Cheap quality, hardly useful even for mixing. There are better ones.
