Bounty bar (coconut and chocolate) in aroma; sweet coconut and caramel in body; no tail.

Yeah, obviously Plantation, err…….umm…..”Planteray”, sorry, is gonna make this taste pretty awesome(if you’re into coconut that is). It tastes like a liquid version of an almond joy or mounds candy bar. Coconut(real, authentic coconut) and chocolate, with the backing of plantations rum coming in at 40%. I miss the extra 50ml we use to get here in the states, but oh well. It’s probably better for my health that I have 50ml less of this to consume, because I will…….all of it….

Side note: I’m pretty sure this bottle was made with the intention of it being used as a mixer in cocktails, but as I’ve stated many times before, I’m too lazy for that sh!t. This bottle will be consumed completely neat. So, if you are a rum drinker but on the fence due to its obvious flavoring, just know that it can be done either way. Planteray. (Now how’s that for a slogan? Ok, I’ll stop)

I was so excited to see this in stock near me. I love coconut, so I've been waiting for Plantation to finally release this rum. Notes of strong natural coconut and cocoa. For me, this has the strong coconut taste of Koloa, without the slight artificial aftertaste, and the nice caramel notes of Siesta Key. It's much stronger on the coconut than Siesta Key, definitely on par with Koloa in strength but more of a caramel coconut flavor. Definitely not disappointed. Can't wait to try this in cocktails.
