Grander Port Cask 10-Year

Needs some sweetness, to offset the burn which I'd assume the port would give it like normal but not here

So close to being good, the port comes through burn has this metallic burn, it actually needs a little bit more sweetness to find that right balance that dos maderas hits. Its like if dos maderas was blended with a brugal

I’ve never heard of this brand before so I was curious to try it since they had some interesting selections offered at my local liquor store. The port cask isn’t overwhelming and the rum doesn’t taste like it has any additives so overall I’m very pleased. I’ll definitely search out other varieties from them in the future.
