Pretty good for it's price. Very tasty. Not as weet as some but still fairly sweet.

I really like this rum. It has an enjoyable subtle sweetness with the spice flavors coming in softly on the finish. No bite or sting; very smooth drinker.

I only went out of my way to grab a bottle of this because of the rating. I took it home cracked it open and tentatively tried about half an ounce. My god is it good, tastes like a decently aged rum, not too much burn, at the very end just before any aftertaste you get the spices, not overly spiced but enough to compliment the natural flavor of the rum.

Perfect in a Cable Car.

Arrived at the Airbnb to find a full assortment of Brinley Gold for our enjoyment... Really this is why I love this rum. Sure it’s a spiced, flavored candy rum. But I think of it not as a sipping rum but instead a delicious rum cocktail. For spiced rum, it’s a tasty one and a nice digestif.

Nothing sets this apart. Forgettable. It has a rich taste but just doesn’t excite. Short finish. Very pedestrian.

This is a great spiced rum. I was introduced to it at an amazing Caribbean restaurant owned by a Jamaican Chef. That place was so incredible, but I digress.

The rum was served in a bourbon glass with a single ice cube. It had a nice aroma, not alcoholy, just a mild smell of caramel. It had a slight taste of caramel as well, with a bit of spice and a finish oy vanilla. Sweet, but not too sweet; a good value for a well made rum and very easy to drink (and acquire).

Unlike a couple of reviewers I thought the nose was not very heavy in alcohol or spice. Not a sipper but a great build rum with cola or ginger ale. Did not try citrus but believe it would not carry.

This is a great rum in place of more traditional spiced rums and would be a nice surprise for guests. Smother with no aftertastes could major a good blender too.

What a great surprise. Bought it on a whim and never looked back. A great spiced rum. Sweetness and full of spice. Really enjoyed this rum.

Wonderfully smooth. Rich and sophisticated rum with vanilla-carmel flavor. Reminds me a lot of Captain Morgan Private Reserve. Great rum to drink by itself to fully appreciate its flavor. Highly recommended!
