Bacardi Superior Rum is the original Bacardi rum, dating back to 1862 when Don Facundo Bacardi Massó purchased his first rum distillery in Cuba. 150 years later, Bacardi Superior is now manufactured in Puerto Rico, but the recipe remains largely the same.

A unique strain of yeast discovered in the Cuban sugarcane fields is used to produce Bacardi Superior rum. The rum is filtered through charcoal, a process pioneered by Bacardi, before and after it is aged in oak barrels for at least one year.

Not the best but you can always go to it when you need it.

As a staple and mass produced rum, it does the job but there are better (cheaper) white rums on the market these days that are now more accessible.

The harshness of young rum has been filtered out, but so has the taste. A bland white rum, what you're most likely going to get when you order a rum and coke at any standard bar or restaurant.

Nothing special. Good when you want rum in a drink, but don't want to pay for a good rum.

I prefer sipping rums but when it comes to mixing drinks I'll always choose the cheaper less tasty rums to mix with.

I love to drink bacardi rum in pleasant cold weather or in winter with a lot of meat, cheese and salad because all alcohol dry your mouth and stomach.

Does anyone buy this to drink on the rocks?? No. It is a mixer. Good in many cocktails. I’m with LVazques. It’s fine for what it is. It does not pretend to be anything it is not. It is what it is- a good cocktail mixer.

alot of ethanol in this one, you taste all of the alcohol and theres no flavor at all. If you are only setting out to get slammed this might be your best option considering it tastes ever so slightly better than vodka. Only good for shots and daiquiris.
