My interest in tiki culture bought me to rum in the late 80s and blossomed significantly in the 90s. I have a large tiki bar at my home where I routinely stock and enjoy a broad variety of rums from countries all over the world. For rum based cocktails, I most enjoy Mai Tais, Zombies, Hemingway Daiquiris, Rum Punches, Pina Coladas, Jungle Birds and Mojitos. That said, at least half of the Rum I drink these days are sippers I enjoy either straight up or with a cube of ice and usually enjoyed with a cigar.
