United States | Spiced | 35% ABV
Launched in 2011, Bacardi Oakheart is the newest addition to the extensive Bacardi collection.
This spiced rum is aged for 1 to 2 years, filtered using a proprietary process, and then flavored with various spices including maple, nutmeg, cinnamon and honey.
Bacardi Oakheart took over two years to name and more than 2700 names were considered. The winner, Oakheart, is a reference to the charred American white oak barrels that house the rum while it ages.

Not bad to throw in with some coke. Quite sweet and strong vanilla
Nie som milovníkom spiced rumov, ale tento mi nevadí. Je skôr sladší. Aromatický
If u want something cheap but also good this is a great choice, i found it in Aldi for 8,50€ and i had to go back and get 1 more bottle! Goes down the throath very smooth on the rocks but with Coke and some ice is even better, nice smokey flavour.
Easy to find, a little bit to spiritous
... But for that amound of money îs better that captain morgen.
Solid mixer. Actually first had this one on a cruise when mixed with an ale, surprisingly good, safe choice for the cost.
It is mildly sweetened 20g/l. Vanilla and nuts on the nose, the taste is light, vanilla and spices, with hints of dried fruits, toffee and oak. Aftertaste is mild. I am not a big fan of spiced rums, but this one is definitely ok for the money.
I used it mainly for mixing and the drinks tasted good
'oak barrels to impart a rich and smoky taste'

Smooth but it is also very sweet.
"There's a slight burn of alcohol and the spicing is maybe just a bit too much. There is also a slightly jarring aftertaste. It’s a bit smoky and oily."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Easy sipping, a bit spiced, nothing elaborated , just a party rum.
