Between 18 yr, and 25 yr, this was the least favorite.

In the name of research, I’ve gotten a little tipsy, in order get these notes together.
Color - tea tree / Tabaco brown
Smell - hard to discribe; it has a slight 5 spice smell with Toasted Demerara sugar followed by a subtle tabaco smell and some spicy back notes to close.
Taste - round, subtle flavors starting with golden toffee taste (like you get at a school fete). A warm spice soon covers all regions of the mouth including your lips to give a glow. A minute later this subsides. So you try again in order to check the exact sequence.

YUM!

A rum with a nice slightly sweet taste of what I would like to call a “traditional rum flavour”.
One of my favorites.

A good addition to any rum cabinet. Not to sweet with subtle hints of flavor.

I tasted this one at Sugarcane in LV based on advice from the bartender. Color is medium amber, with caramel and cinnamon on the nose. Vanilla arrived first on the tongue, followed by coffee on the throat. I cannot buy this locally, but am looking for a mail-order source!

Sweeter and less complex than a Zacapa 23. Great nose, not to much alcohol. Taste of chocolate, creamy, vanilla. Nice sweet rum

I'm new to the rum world so take this with a grain of salt. This rum is my favorite so far. Subtly sweet, great aromas and feels silky in your mouth. Hard to sip because you don't want to put it down. I highly recommend this one.

Sweet dark rum with a lot of aroma, maybe a little bit too sweet for some. Compares easily with rum of double the price.
