Bacardi 8

Has a weird smokey after taste. I do not like it very much.

Ok as a sipping rum but not super smooth. Great with a touch of water, sparkling water with twist of lime or a bit of ginger ale.

Decent rum best as a quality mixer ok bang for your buck.

I like the smoothness and I drink the in the evening trough out the week.

This is not the worst from Bacardi and it is quite drinkable to be honest.

Smooth and neat rum with rastes of vanilla and honey.

Something that is needed at home

Nothing not to like been through many a bottle smooth enough neat, great rum and coke. My tastes have grown more complex for depth and lingering flavors. But Bacardi’s first offering I will drink. Good value unique flavors to this and Díaz.

I had this in different bottles and from different countries over the years. I really like how Bacardi was able to keep the recipe alive and balanced, independently of the country of origin. 8 YO from Barbados or Puerto Rico was the same...taste, soft palate pleasurable experience. Decent priced...until recently....Now is hard to find and high priced. 38 CAD for a bottle is too much.

Smooth and smokey, not too sweet. A great way to dip your toes into rum without spending too much money.

Makes good grogs, and other drinks. Surprised at how well I liked it.
