Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

As mentioned above, this was a gift from a boss. This was my introduction into Plantation and what a way to get introduced. Extremely smooth and flavorful.
Light amber in the glass, with a pleasant but subtle aroma. Auger hits the palate up front, with alcohol and tannins from the wood.
Honestly, my take away is too much wood, that slightly overpowers an otherwise pleasant Rum.
Dokonalá kombinace chuti, kvality a ceny. V současnosti vážně neexistuje moc lahví, které by se těšily u mě větší oblibě než Plantation XO 20th Anniversary. Příjemná chuť tropického ovoce s náznaky vanilky, kokosu a citrusových plodů, sladký až medový závěr.
Great taste, color, finish, body….one of the best rum wich you could buy in market. 9/10
Kiválóan sikerült ital, ami az árkategóriájában szerintem a legjobb.
Normally, not the biggest fan of plantation rums, but this one will always be in my cabinet.
Very cool bottle (high class look), not too strog, smooth and sweet to sip. For this price very good rum
It tastes pretty much like a coconut liqueur.
"An overly sweet saccharin note which make the rum taste artificial. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
