Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

That was fantastic experience to taste this rhum. Strong flavour, very delightful, not too sweet.
Rather tasty.. reminded me Hennesy XO somehow.....
This is an excellent rum. Itβs smooth with a great vanilla and sweet character that Iβm sure most people would adore. Personally, I can appreciate how well made it is but simultaneously itβs a bit sweet for my pallet which holds it back a bit for me. Regardless it is by far the best plantation rum I have had.
It has a smooth taste and the flavors of spice and molasses comes together in perfect harmony
Not to sweet - great taste - long aftertaste - amazing on the rocks
Im very new to rum drinking sΓ₯ i will not be able to give specific tasest bit its the first hard liquor i ever drank pure just with ice and liked it.
Very easy drinking, perfect for a nice relaxing glass after dinner. Smooth, hint of spice develops after swish.
Definetly in my top 5. Price and quality is absolutely spot on
, especially with such a lovely bottle. Also works great as a nice present)) almost a dessert rum for me, soo great as a sipper and in cocktails. Heavy notes of caramel, vanilla, ripe fruit and a touch of coconut. Enjoy)
It tastes pretty much like a coconut liqueur.
"An overly sweet saccharin note which make the rum taste artificial. ."

This is a fantastic rum with subtle flavors that really opens up with time. I was very happy to have found this bottle and ended up grabbing a second.
