Strong alcohol and wood characteristics, with barrel and vanilla. Still, while the taste is harmonic it is more close to a bourbon or whiskey. If you like strong, burning and less sweet tastes, go for it.

Where have the St Lucia rums been hiding my adult life!
Yes…. I would rate it a 7.2 but for a 5y old rum it is good.
The smell is light, toasted notes of charred wood and toffee. I does have a slight note of a young rum but is over all very nice.
Taste is on the younger sharper side, with long lasting notes. But again it’s only 5y old!
Looking forward to getting my hands on some more St. Lucia rums if I can.

Not too complex a little bland with no finish other than the slight expected st. Lucia burn. Its solid to sip just not that memorable.

Fruity aroma with a hint of booze, flavour fairly subdued but smooth. Overripe fruit and treacle

Jedná se o směs rumů starých 5 - 9 let zrajících v amerických dubových sudech po bourbonu a portském víně.
HMS Princessa byla původně španělské plavidlo, které bylo Brity ukořistěno v roce 1780 v bitvě u Sv. Vincenta. HMS Princessa byla kapitována Charlesem Knatchbullem a kontraadmirálem Francisem Samuelem Drakem. Tato loď se 70 děly byla první, která zasáhla do bojů proti francouzské flotile v bitvě u Saints v dubnu 1782.

Ochutnávka 27.1.2021: Aroma: izolepa, papírový karton, vanilka, mandle. Chuť je nasládlá, jemně kořenitá, karamelová. V dozvuku trpký karamel a spousta dubového dřeva.
Pohodový, neslazený rum s hodně dřevitým profilem. Zajímavé je, že za propití se celou lahví jsem nezachytil ani náznak portského, ve kterém by měl oficiálně rum dozrávat.
