I have not expect much from the premium Havana Club rum, but it was great, amazingly smooth and full bodied experience, rich in all tastes you can imagine. the 80 years old barrels gave the liquor everything good and complex. Well done masteros roneros in Cuba!

This rum is very hard to come by and very expensive in the United States. This has been a great Christmas with many select and rare bottles of rum and great cigars. Nose test no alcohol scent or burn, initial taste tongue classic Cuban rum but exceptionally smooth. Must drink neat don’t want to water down these great flavors. Likely only bottle I will own quite pricey for any elixir. Back to the top shelf.

Raisin character similar to El Dorado rums, but this is without added sugar. Also a bit of citrus. Too dry for my tastes, it might work for others.

Finally had the chance to taste and get a bottle of this fine rum. Smooth and well balanced. Slightly sweet tobacco flavoured. With long lasting fruity aftertaste.
