Havana Club Añejo Especial is a blend of rums aged for up to five years produced from the fermented molasses of sugar cane harvested in Cuba. The molasses is combined with yeast and water, distilled using column stills, and aged in white oak barrels.
Havana Club was founded in 1878 by Jose Arechabala and later nationalized after the Cuban Revolution in 1959.

Not a full bodied or special rum but basic and easily mixed. I'm thinking of using this as a Base for spice infusion for more flavour.
I drink this Rum first time in Havana by Havana club factory. The taste over there was
Much better besides when I buy a bottle en drink it at home. This Rum is tasty, but for the price you can get better Rum.
It has a nice sweet bitterness with a tobacco finish. It has the caramel colour without the taste. Good with Sprite.
A bit smoother than the more smokey Havana 7.
All good drinks with coke zero and lime with ice. I'll buy this again next time I need a mixer.
Je le consomme uniquement avec du coca et pour le prix (j'arrive à l'avoir pour 10-12 euros en général) c'est un bon choix pour les apéritifs
Great for mixing Cuba libra or with fever tree ginger beer lite ! Add a slice lime inexpensive a smooth nice run for price . When on offer get 2 !
Quite enjoyable on rocks. Good for mixing. Very good choice in this price level.
Degelijke rum die me wel kan bekoren.
Standaard, niet speciaal maar scoort een voldoende.

"It’s very heavy with vanilla and the caramel and brown sugar notes are too much. The rum is quite smooth and not very rough."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

In fact, don't even bother to sip it. Works fantastically well with Coke or Coconut Water. Good value for money as well
