Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

Bit of a letdown, nothing Special. Definitely not a bad rum, but there are a lot of better rums out there for less money.

This rum is horrible! It's a tobacco flavored Bacardi. Send the cigars, keep the rum!
Woody with orange and floral note, tobacco an cinnamon/caramel finish.
Great as a Cuba Libre. For me too much smoky notes to enjoy just sippin, less you smoke a cigar with it to balance it all out!
Wife got me this bottle as a suprise. Nose fruity raisins and a little smoke. Taste get better the more I drink notes of tobacco are strong for a non smoker like myself.
Avec du cola et du jus de lime, il est le compagnon parfait pour un bon Cuba libre. Il faut du courage pour le boire sec.
Good taste but it'ss too much spirits. Nice flavors. A little bit sweet for me but it is fine.
Elegant and smooth. Impressive colour on the rocks.
Havana Club Añejo 7 Años has a dazzling and clear mahogany colour...

'caramel, cane sugar, and a bit of cinnamon character in the finish'
"Havana Club 7-Year rum review by Drinkhacker"
Their is a creamy/buttery vanilla like smell oak, dry tobacco and smokiness.
"It’s very hot, spicy and very bitter. Luckily the burn isn’t bad and very short. Subsequent sips are much smoother."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
