Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

My brother and I drank a bottle of this one night defiantly one I would recommend very nice flavour mixed with coke
Found a bottle outside the US. It's richer than the US anejo. Much more vanilla, toasted marshmallow, a little tobacco. On the sweeter side. Not a lot of complexity or finish. For the $, pick up a couple if you get a chance, but don't go out of your way. It's a solid all rounder but not quite a great sipper.
Nem a legjobb rum, amit életedben inni fogsz, de ebben az érsévban szerintem kiemelkedő. Rum íze van és nem alkohol íze, ami már alapban dícséretes!
Just a good overall rum for the money. Nothing fancy but good.
This rum used to be my favorite but now that I tried a few others like Diplomatico or Zacapa 23, it's actually quite behind. It's still a very good rum but not nearly as smooth as other.
This was my favorite rum of choice when living in Buenos Aires. I used to drink it with Coke but I started drinking it on the rock sipping it. It was smooth enough and not too bitter. I prefer sweet rums so I definitely recommend this one. I know there exist Havana Club rum made outside of Cuba due to the US embargo but I’ve never tried those to be able to compare.
Personaly my favorit, taste is smoky, caramel, vanilla and oak, on the sweet Great all-arrounder
Smell of caramel, taste is smokey, with caramel, vanilla and oak. It is on the sweet side but without added sugar, so only after your palate is cleansed from the usual sugar bombs you can appreciate this rum. Sugar is what appeals to all of us in the beginning but as you progress in rum world and educate yourself you can start to take in aromas which are not the result of added sugar, and this makes it an above-average rum in my book because almost everything else in that price range (and much higher) is with added sugar. One user wrote that they compare all rums to this one, and it's the same for me as it's the rum I drink the most due to its good price. It's a good all-arrounder and good for neat drinking as well. Price 30€.
Havana Club Añejo 7 Años has a dazzling and clear mahogany colour...

Their is a creamy/buttery vanilla like smell oak, dry tobacco and smokiness.
"It’s very hot, spicy and very bitter. Luckily the burn isn’t bad and very short. Subsequent sips are much smoother."

Definitely has a sweeter taste than the 3 year. Light amber in colour, not that bad.
