Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

A nice flavoursome rum perfect for making Cuba libre's
Havana Club 7 Anos, it's a very famous brand in Belgium and in the world's. I have tested different kinds of havana. This one is a very good one for cocktail Like Cuba libre Or to mixed with Ginger soda (canada dry in europe).
This is very nice with coke. But for an aged rum I was expecting better. I wouldn't drink this straight or over rocks personally.
One of my favorite cheap mixing rums. Great in a Cuba Libre or in Daquri ' s.

este ron puede adquirirse por menos de $20 sin embargo tienes la seguridad de haber adquirido algo de altísima calidad
to me they made a good rum but something is missing to really enjoy it I can't define what but the not far. After all it's a everyday rum not an elite one does the job but missing of smooth and complex deep aroma...
One of the first rums I tasted and liked very much. Although during my last holiday (in Cuba) I noticed that I don't like it so much anymore. As with all Cuban rums I don't like the harshness anymore.
Must be because of all the other (sweeter and smoother) brands I came across lately. Still: a very solid rum for a good price.
I'm Bourbon drinker, and this made me think of Jim beam Black. Quite complex and strong raste, dried fruits, toffee and tobacco. Not too sweet, I hate that they but loads of sugar in rums.
Havana Club Añejo 7 Años has a dazzling and clear mahogany colour...

Their is a creamy/buttery vanilla like smell oak, dry tobacco and smokiness.
"It’s very hot, spicy and very bitter. Luckily the burn isn’t bad and very short. Subsequent sips are much smoother."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Delicious when mixed. I prefer with coke. Do not like straight.
