Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

Enjoy this rum, nice level of smoothness for a resonable price. Started drinking this while visiting Cuba
I’m a rum & coke drinker...cheap rums, medium & expensive one are mixed with a little coke over here. This one is ideal for in a bar or terras
Good rum for mixing wearing a legendary label. A little bit overdone due to popularity. I won't all it an occasional sipper...but more a mixer. It was a 7 year old rum at one point with it's own character, but now is more like a daily Bacardi mix and match kind of drink.
This rum is my favourite in that price range even though I tried even better this is still my favourite, maybe Abuelo 7 is better hahaha. I know it's not the best but I just really enjoy it and the price is great...
I tried this rum side-by-side with the Hanava Club Especial and it was noticeably smoother.
Havana Club 7 has always been my go to rum for a rum and coke on a night out. It’s stocked everywhere and gives a nice smooth, not overly sweet taste. It’s also nice to sip neat. At the end of the day it’s a simple Spanish/Cuban-style rum that doesn’t offend. It’ll always have a place in my cabinet.
nice rum to drink, can't decide which one I like more, this one or the anejo
Havana Club Añejo 7 Años has a dazzling and clear mahogany colour...

'caramel, cane sugar, and a bit of cinnamon character in the finish'

Their is a creamy/buttery vanilla like smell oak, dry tobacco and smokiness.
"It’s very hot, spicy and very bitter. Luckily the burn isn’t bad and very short. Subsequent sips are much smoother."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Heading to a college party? Looking for a smooth rum to mix? This should do just fine. Just remember when laying that head down for the night to take some Tylenol, as this rum still likes to party inside your head while you sleep.
