Distilled using small-batch copper pot stills uniquely designed for Appleton Estate, this rum is a blend of several rums aged 21 years in American oak barrels. Once blended, the rum is re-casked for two years to marry the flavors.
Appleton Estate 21-year rum is produced in Jamaica on one of the country’s oldest and most renowned sugar estates. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes with a signed aging certificate by master blender Joy Spence.

a good taste, smooth, but i expected much more for this Price.

This was my first rum that I fell in love with about 10 years ago. Just enough oak, vanilla, caramel.
I am not a rum expert, I just know what I like, and I like this! It's my favorite rum to sip, I love the aroma and the melding of flavors. Glad I bought the bottle, think I'll need another.
Now this is some good stuff. At a very decent price. This rum offers complexity, a balanced sweetness, spices and a very different flavor of jamaican rum, than any other jamaican rum I tried. I recommend this to everyone.

I tried that rum during stay in Jamaica. I visited Appletone destillery...Great tour...private guide. At the end you can try collection of their rums. All common till 12 YO. But guide was great guy and saw that I know more about rums that simple tourist. Propose me to try 21 and 30 YO! 21 YO maybe not my style but you'll see there fantastic balance.
