Easy drinking. English style. But find it a little flat and dies not have a good finish. Will try to get 14yr old instead.

I like the XO of this series best, as the 8 yr adds a little too much barrel aroma and flavor for my palate; nonetheless, it is still a worthwhile addition to your bar for what it brings (Aged Bajan rum) at the price point ($20) for home and pro bartenders. This makes a superior cocktail and is no slouch in the snifter. One note that really stands out is an almost orange-like flavor that hits mid palate and fades slowly, making this an excellent accompaniment for drinks calling for citrus.

Got this on sale at Total Wine. Aroma is very good and enticing to drink it right away. But I found it better if I let it breathe for a minute or 2. It’s smoother and easier to sip. Definitely worth the price.

Caramel, fruit, and brown sugar with a little warmth. The perfect balance between smoothness and depth of flavor. Exactly what a bajan rum should be. Always my go-to for spirit-forward rum drinks.

Vanilka, citrusy, lahky rum z Barbadosu, sladky, ale bez pridaneho cukru, proste rum.

Barbados I just love rum from this island nicer than the 5 but not quite as good as the 12. Cocktails love this fruity rum

No one attribute of this rum stands out to me. But if you put it all together, it’s a winner. It has a really good flavor, and is great in a mixer or by itself. It didn’t take me long to finish the bottle gifted to me for Christmas. Now that I know there are other aged variants, I am eager to try those as well.
