The sweet edge of this rum complements its power and density. I would say this is the perfect cross between Zacapa and Legendario. The succulent character of this rum makes it pleasantly enjoyable especially among friends.

As a Dominican, I’ll tell you this is one of the BEST affordable Rums there is! Amazing sipping rum, amazing color, amazing smell, almost no burn at all, a tiny bit sweet, it tastes like a super smooth Mamajuana… could mix with if preferred.

This is an excellent sipping rum, I enjoyed it with lime on the rocks. For the price this is a must have for me. I bought this at duty-free in the Dominican Republic, I can’t find it in the USA, I wish I bought an entire case!

I am really enjoying this bottle of Brugal Leyenda. It has a smooth texture with a grappy finish.

Had It already some months ago and even earlier but each time I drink It again I feel its something special , one of a kind rum.Delicate , smooth ,well balanced sweet but not too, a great rum!

This rum is truly amazing. Excellent taste and smooth finish. Not sure how to get it in the USA but I had it down in the DR at the factory and brought a bottle back. In my opinion, it tastes better and smoother than the more expensive bottles like the Siglo De Oro. One of the best sipping rums I have tasted.

An excellent rum. Betty cognac like. You get the feel of the oak in which it was matured. It has little burn, but a lot of taste. Also you get notes of dried apricots or prunes with a hint of vanilla.
