Bumbu Original

Very sweet fruity flavour. Vanila aroma, and taste of banana and cinnamon. Not for those who doesnt like sweeter rums.

One of the rums that I gift to friends or bring to different occasions like birthdays and social gatherings. Personally, I find it as a high quality casual rum, good for day to day responsible consumption. The colour is pleasant, the sweetness maybe a 7/10, the spices surprise with their balance and the finish is soft, at least for me. Everyone I know that has first tasted it liked it from the start, just one connoisseur that was not impressed 😂

This is amazing tasty stuff. Medium body, beautiful flavour, great colour. Not sure why this is rated so low, especially at $52 for 3/4L.

Delicious dessert rum. Best enjoyed, not as a sipping rum, but rather with desert as a sweet treat. Flavours of vanilla and banana shine, but is more like a liqueur than a traditional rum

Bumbu is a very pleasant "rum" to drink. Very tasty and fragrant, it is also very sweet and syrupy.
We can smell a lot of bananas. For me it's more of a rum liqueur like French Orange Shrubb.
Even though there are a lot of additives and sugar, it is still pleasant to drink. But I don't consider it a "real" rum. It remains affordable and in the same price bracket as the French Shrubb.

Great rum to keep on hand for people that like a sweeter rum that can be drank neat. I actually keep it in the freezer so it’s cold, but not diluted with ice. A little sweet, but a great butterscotch/banana taste. Perfect for an after dinner/ end of night drink.

Nieuwe rum gekocht en deze hadden de vrienden die bij ons kwamen voor spelletjes en rum toevallig al aangekondigd. Lekker, lijkt een beetje op het likeurtje Koekie, zacht en zoet.

Le rhum le plus sucré que j’ai bu. Arômes de vanilles et de banane. Excellent mais il faut aimer le style.

Clearly this rum carries banana flavors that pop. This is a great rum for some sun and summer drinks. I like it super cold, straight up! Usually I’d give these spiced rums a lower rating, but Bumbu crushed it with this. 8 stars earned!
