I have to give this one straight 8 because it's so good, after just few first sips. Why not more, I don't even know. This is surely good stuff whatsoever. Recommending.
This is how rum does pineapple.
The Nose gives you pineapple with molasses singing back-up. As far as the palate... re-read the nose description.
Can be sipped, but instead make an outstanding piña colada that will make you legend among your friends.
Oooof what to say about this. It’s certainly not your typical rum experience as the pineapple flavour is quite strong.
If you are fan of pineapple then all power to you but you can get the same experience by mixing regular Plantation rum with pineapple juice.
I can imagine this would be an incredible experience watch the sunset, sitting in the sand, listening to the waves.
Nice rum. I taste thus one the first time in front of a camp fire. I didn't have very high expectations but Its really good, not overly sweet, not too much pineapple but still fruity. Nice one!
A very good rum. I may upgrade to an 8 later. This is a perfect example that price does not always equatel to how good a rum is. Can be had for under $30 and is so good. The pineapple brings out so much character. Surprisingly not sweet and has complexity of flavors. So, so good.
This one’s definitely not something you wanna miss out on. For the lower price range that this rum is placed ($40) I’d place it as a bottle to “always have at home”
Fruity taste with a little sweetness, hints of cask, pineapple, vanilla, arrack and sultanas.
Bottle: 700ml
Alcohol: 40%
Sugar content: 19g/l
Wonderful sipping rum that I received as a x mas present. In the picture was the holiday line up.
The pineapple infusion is great, better neat than on the rocks, with a bit of heat. It goes great with a cigar.
The pineapple and sugar stay with you a while.
Most surely the best flavored rum I ever tasted, and will always have a place in my bar.
The nose is sweet but not overly so.
"Smells very much of fresh pineapple as opposed to sweetened tinned pineapple."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is the least favourite of the Plantation rums that I’ve tried. The base rum is nothing special and the pineapple infusion makes it taste strange. Certainly not a sipper and even when mixed with dry ginger, it doesn’t quite work. Having said it, I can understand why people love it, just not my thing.
