Po nalití sice slabší vůně kde cítím něco sladkého a pak techniku. s trochou dřeva ze sudu.
V chuti pro mne dosti technický, ale příjemně. Na patře poměrně dlouhý, ale slabý dozvuk.

This bottling of the independent bottler Rumdeluxe comes from TDL from Trinidad and was produced in column style in 2002 and was then allowed to be stored tropically in Ex Bourbon barrels for 20 years. Subsequently, the rum was bottled with 63.1% alcohol without additives or filtration as a single cask with 246 bottles.

The nose is a great 2002 TDL nose. It is very balanced with tropical fruit, a nice mint, roasted aromas, some smoke, candied fruit, caramel and some nut. The nose has a nice complexity and is really fun. On the palate, the alcohol shows that it is very well integrated. It warms and brings great aromas with candied fruit, mint, caramelized nut, roasted aromas and vanilla. Tropical fruit notes and menthol come through again and again. The rum is intense and has a great body. Towards the end it becomes more woody and spicy. With more tannins, dark chocolate, tobacco and a floral note. It is dry and slightly astringent.

An absolute grenade with a great TDL profile. This 2002 is definitely on the fruity side and looks a bit fresher. The 20 tropical years have made the rum round and balanced. The 63% never become disturbing or even alcoholic. Great rum. Unfortunately also very expensive. You can this profile much cheaper from otjer bottlers. Therefore, i remain with a sample.

Diese Abfüllung des unabhängigen Abfüllers Rumdeluxe kommt von TDL aus Trinidad und wurde 2002 im Column style hergestellt und durfte anschließend 20 Jahre tropisch in Ex Bourbon Fässern lagern. Anschließend wurde der Rum mit 63,1% Alkohol ohne Zusatzstoffe oder Filtration als Single Cask mit 246 Flaschen abgefüllt.

Die Nase ist eine tolle 2002 TDL Nase. Sie ist sehr ausgewogen mit tropischer Frucht, einer schönen Minze, Röstaromen, etwas Rauch, kandierten Früchten, Karamel und etwas Nuss. Die Nase hat eine schöne Komplexität und macht richtig Spaß. Am Gaumen zeigt der Alkohol das er sehr gut eingebunden ist. Er wärmt und bringt tolle Aromen mit kandierten Früchten, Minze, karamellisierter Nuss, Röstaromen und Vanille. Es kommen immer wieder tropische Frucht Noten und auch Menthol durch. Der Rum ist intensiv und hat einen tollen Körper. Zum Ende wird er holziger ubd würziger. Mit mehr Tanninen, dunkler Schokolade, Tabak und einer floralen Note. Dabei zeigt er sich trocken und leicht adstringent.

Eine absolute Granate mit einer tollen TDL Profil. Dieser 2002er ist definitiv auf der fruchtigen Seite und wirkt etwas frischer. Die 20 tropischen Jahre haben den Rum rund und ausgewogen gemacht. Die 63% werden
nie störend oder gar alkoholisch. Toller Rum. Leider auch sehr teuer. Das gibt es auch deutlich günstiger. Daher bleibt es bei einem Sample.

Rum pochází z destilerie TDL a zrál 20 let v sudu po bourbonu (sud č. 21, značka TLM). Prošel tropickým a kontinentálním zráním.
Jedná se o 42. plnění v rámci Wild Series. Na etiketě je vyobrazen výr virginský (Bubo virginianus).

Aroma: Velmi pronikavé - med, zdravotnická dezinfekce a stopově ovoce (limety). Vše podtrhuje krásná mátová svěžest.
Chuť: Máta, hořké dřevo a ovoce.
Dozvuk: Výrazně mátový, hořce dřevitý a stopově dezinfekční. Máta odeznívá opravdu hezky dlouho.

Ochutnán vzorek, celá lahev
Výrazně mátový trinidadský single cask. Navzdory poměrně vysoké ceně jsem lahvi neodolal.
